Our collaborative project focused on advanced therapies for diabetes, and I research on novel implantable devices for drug delivery (read about it here). My PhD was an amazing experience and I was lucky to be surrounded by great mentors and colleagues.

While I love research and innovation, I developed a strong interest in science writing and communication. I have acquired versatile storytelling and writing skills while working as a policy analyst at the European Commission, and currently at the EFIS centre, but also by being a tour guide in Ireland and Scotland, teaching kayaking and writing articles.

Having completed a PhD, I understand the need for clear writing and effective visuals. I love data analysis (is there anything more fun than making graphs in R on a rainy day?) and data-driven storytelling.
